How do I become a member?

Simply fill out the 'sign-up' form to get started. We'll send you a link to confirm your membership. Please note that you must be an InterMiles member to join – if not already, please visit www.intermiles.com.

How do I access the member's area?

Log in to your account by entering your email address and password.

What is my InterMiles number?

This is your unique 16-digit number associated with your InterMiles membership. You should be able to find your InterMiles number by logging in to your InterMiles account.

Why do I need to give you my InterMiles number when I join?

We can only credit your InterMiles account when we have access to your InterMiles number. You’ll need to register your InterMiles number so that your details can be verified.

How can my family and friends join Miles For Surveys?

They will need to visit our website to sign up as normal. Please note that there can only be 2 members per household and each member needs a separate email address and InterMiles number to join. All registrations are subject to our vigorous data quality controls.

What should I do if I want to change my email address?

Please contact our helpdesk who will be happy to help.

Surveys
Why are surveys conducted?

We run surveys because businesses, governments, public bodies & similar organisations are interested in the views and attitudes of the people who use their products and services. The more they know about what people think, the easier it is for them to improve and adapt what they supply.

How often will I be asked to take surveys?

We send out survey invitations by email on a regular basis. However, we can’t guarantee when or how many invites members will receive. This is because each survey is customized around the research goals of our individual clients.
Depending on your profile, there may be times where we ask you to complete surveys more or less often. For this reason, we ask you to keep your profile up to date.
Please note, some firewalls may flag our emails as spam, so be sure to add us to your 'safe senders' list to receive survey invites as normal.

What is expected of me when taking part in surveys?

Please give careful attention to every question you answer. As the world’s top market research company, our reputation is based upon providing accurate data. Quality mechanisms are put in place to validate your responses, so failure to answer honestly may result in your answers not being accepted and you being screened out of the survey. We can’t reward you for taking part if we identify dishonest behaviour, and if this behaviour continues, we may permanently deactivate your account. (Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information.)

Why was I unable to complete a survey?

Market researchers look for the opinions of a very specific group of people – for example, users of a particular brand or product. That’s why we ask you questions at the start of each survey to see whether you’re a part of this ‘target group.’ This is called pre-qualification.
If the survey isn’t relevant to you, you’ll be "screened out" with a message letting you know that you haven’t qualified at this time. Don’t worry, though, as this is a normal part of the market research process.
To unlock more surveys, it’s therefore important to keep your profile up to date, as the more we know about you, the more we can match you with relevant surveys.
(Please note that the data from non-completed surveys is discarded and not used in the final analysis of the survey or for any other purpose.)

Rewards
What rewards do you offer?

We reward you with InterMiles for every survey you complete. Earn 200 Miles for every short survey (<15 min) and 400 Miles for longer surveys (>15 min). The more surveys you complete, the more Miles you earn!

Where can I view my Miles balance?

Log in to our website and head over to your Dashboard. There, you can see how many Miles you’ve earned, as well as your recent survey history, where you can find an overview of the surveys you’ve taken part in.

How are Miles credited to my InterMiles account?

Your Miles are transferred & deposited directly into your InterMiles account every time you complete a survey with Miles For Surveys.

How long does it take to transfer my Miles?

It can take up to 3–5 days before your Miles appear in your InterMiles account.

Privacy
If I become a member of Miles For Surveys, will I receive emails advertising other products and services?

No. We do not, under any circumstances, sell the personal information of our members and we will never try to sell you products or services.

Who can I talk to if I have any privacy concerns?

Contact information is provided in our Privacy Policy, which you can read in full here.

Why do you need my personal info?

We use your personal information to contact you about your membership as well as to match you with relevant surveys.

Badges
How do badges work?

Badges are awarded to members who activate their account, continue to take surveys regularly, fill out their survey profile, and earn Miles®.

There are five levels, Miles For Surveys Bronze for beginners, Miles For Surveys Silver, Miles For Surveys Gold, Miles For Surveys Platinum and our highest level, Miles For Surveys Diamond.

At every level there are key achievements (known as badges) awarded for your survey activity.

The membership levels are related to aspects of your membership, focusing on activities like taking surveys and earning Miles.

How do I level up?

You can level up by unlocking all the achievements available at your current level in a 365 day period. For example, if you’re a Miles For Surveys Bronze member, you need to complete all the available badges relating to Miles For Surveys Bronze membership in order to level up and become a Miles For Surveys Silver member.

You can achieve badges for different levels above your own – for example, if you have completed 100% of your survey profile, you’ll get a Miles For Surveys Platinum status badge for that section – but you cannot reach Miles For Surveys Diamond level until you’ve achieved all badges within Miles For Surveys Platinum.

What is a Miles For Surveys Bronze member?

Miles For Surveys Bronze members are just getting started. To reach Miles For Surveys Bronze status, all you have to do is sign up and activate your account.

What is a Miles For Surveys Silver member?

Miles For Surveys Silver is the first step on the ladder.

To reach Miles For Surveys Silver status, members must:

  • Complete 25% of their survey profile
  • Take one survey in the last week
  • Complete their first survey

What is a Miles For Surveys Gold member?

Miles For Surveys Gold members are becoming regular survey takers.

To reach Miles For Surveys Gold, members must:

  • Complete 50% of their survey profile
  • Take a survey in two consecutive weeks
  • Complete their 10th survey

What is a Miles For Surveys Platinum member?

Miles For Surveys Platinum members are active and regular survey takers who have almost completed their survey profile.

To reach Miles For Surveys Platinum status, members must:

  • Complete 75% of their survey profile
  • Take a survey in three consecutive weeks
  • Complete their 25th survey

What is a Miles For Surveys Diamond member?

Miles For Surveys Diamond members have reached the top level. They have a complete survey profile, have completed fifty surveys (or more) and maintain regular survey activity.

To reach Miles For Surveys Diamond status, members must:

  • Complete 100% of their survey profile
  • Take a survey in four consecutive weeks
  • Complete their 50th survey

How do I maintain my badge status?

To maintain your badge status, you must ensure that you continue to take surveys regularly – at least once a week. If you do not maintain your survey activity, your badge for consecutive surveys over one, two, three or four weeks will be lost and you’ll drop to the next level down.

Similarly you must keep your survey profile updated – some sections expire over time, such as technology, electronics and gadgets and automotive – so if you see your profile drop in percentage since you last logged in, check back and complete any sections within your survey profile that are less than 100% complete.
